Hi, my name is Falisha Hola. I’m 18 and I am from Seattle, Washington. I’m a senior at Kennedy Catholic High School and I attend Seattle First Tongan United Methodist Church. I have been involved with the Church at a conference level for five years now. I have been a youth voting delegate at Annual Conference for three years. And for two years now have been at Annual Conference with a vote as President of CCOYM (Conference Council on Youth Ministries). I have been a part of CCOYM for four years. And I have also participated at a global level as a youth voting member for the Western Jurisdiction at the Global Young People’s Convocation (GYPC) in South Africa. After high school, I plan to continue my education and hopefully double major in Political Science and International Relations with a minor in either Computer Science or Economics. I hope in the future I’m able to make a difference locally, nationally, and globally. My journey has just begun and now I have the opportunity to speak at YOUTH2019. I am beyond grateful and I’m excited to share my story. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this process.
