Join Jeremy Steele, Wendy Mohler-Seib, and Eddie Erwin for a unique training opportunity! This series of three topics contains essential pieces to build a successful youth ministry and keep you sane. The Youth Worker Collective is a website loaded with lessons, games, support, and training so that you never have to go it alone in youth ministry. Rule No. 1 of youth ministry? No minister is an island, so if you feel lonely, build bridges! Whether you take this workshop in the morning or the afternoon, there are three topics available – come to one, or come to all! The topics can be taken independently or build upon each other when you attend multiple sessions.
Eddie Erwin serves at the Director of Youth and Young Adults for the Texas Conference. He lives in Klein, Texas, with his wife, Emily, and their children, Quint, Kate, and Corbin James. Eddie has served as a General Conference delegate, on the Division on Ministries with Young People, and currently as the South Central Jurisdictional Youth Ministry Coordinator, Perkins School of Youth Ministry board, and Center for Youth Ministry Training coach. He finds solace in beekeeping and baseball.
When he is not playing with his four children with his wonderful wife, Jeremy Steele is the teaching pastor at Christ UMC in Mobile, Alabama, where he oversees the Newsong and High Point services. He is passionate about reaching people with the message of Jesus in a way that engages them with the movement of God. Jeremy has spent over 20 years working in youth and children’s ministry and continues to train children and youth workers as well as writing and speaking extensively in that field. Jeremy’s most recent book is the “All the Best Questions.” It’s a prayer book that gives just about anyone the words they need to express their hearts to God. You can find a list of all his books, articles and resources for churches at his website: JeremyWords.com and follow him on Twitter and Instagram.
