“What I’m most excited about for Youth 2019 is the opportunity to come together with others worldwide to serve Christ and prepare for a week of unique and intentional worship, and to get to see the transformational power of Christ in the young people who will attend and see how lives are changed during the event.”
Hank Hilliard, DIG Group Coordinator
“I am excited an honored to serve on the Design Team for YOUTH 2019. As a Young People’s Ministries Staff person, I helped plan and lead YOUTH 2011. I was a participant at YOUTH 2015. So now I am in my third different role for YOUTH 2019. I have been moved by seeing God use the YOUTH event to mold and call young people. I have been inspired by the thousands of youth who have brought their energy, passion, and love for God and each other to this event. I can’t wait to see all these thing come crashing together in Kansas City at YOUTH 2019.”
Jay Campbell, Workshop Coordinator
“People at YOUTH 2019 should expect: to encounter God, to be infused with a sense of holy calling, and to have a memorable weekend with friends.”
Madeline Blackwood, Design Team Caregiver
“People at YOUTH 2019 should expect to have a real encounter with God, learn a lot about themselves, make new friends, and laugh!”
Melissa Rynders, Worship Coordinator
“People at YOUTH 2019 should expect to come to a place where they can explore, question, listen and engage with their faith. They should expect it to be a comfortable place to come and be who accepted for who they are, how they are, with no strings attached.”
Phil Rogers, Accessibility Ambassador
“People at YOUTH 2019 should expect God to be present in a whole new way, doing a new thing. God will be present in person who enters our doors and in the community around us. I encourage everyone to look for God in every person, seeing their gifts and talents as essential to the Body of Christ and the Kingdom of God. Expect to leave changed, having learned to LOVE WELL.”
Poese Vatikani, Service Coordinator
“My hope for Youth 2019 is that everyone no matter what nationality we are but we come together to work as one team. I want everyone to appreciate the diversity of where we live and to build a bridge to connect everyone. I want the youth to learn how to lead and stand up and advocate for what they want and not to be inferior and hesitate to voice their concern.”
