Mollie Landman will be graduating from Yough Senior High School in Herminie, Pennsylvania at the beginning of June, 2019. Mollie began her ministry-based life in her freshman year when she started a Christian club (“Students Strengthened By Christ”) at her previous high school, Mt. Pleasant Area Senior High School. Teaching bible lessons week after week led her to feel that she was being called into other forms of ministry. In her junior and senior year of high school, she had the honor of being the President of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference’s Youth Ministry Team (YMT). Mollie also had a leadership role on a larger scale, serving as the Chair of the Northeastern Jurisdiction’s Council on Youth Ministries this past year. These opportunities introduced her to the Global Young People’s Convocation, and she attended GYPC as a voting delegate in Johannesburg, South Africa in the summer of 2018. In addition to her ministries and faith-related ambitions, Mollie enjoys singing, acting, and writing. To continue her education, she plans to attend Grove City College this fall and will declare an intended major in mechanical engineering with a minor in chemical engineering. In the future, she hopes to fulfill her God-given dream of being a Christian author and traveling motivational/Christian speaker. Mollie is extremely grateful and excited to speak at Youth 2019 this year, and she would like to thank her family, friends, and the Youth 2019 staff for their support and encouragement throughout this experience.
